THE INFLUENCE OF UNDERSTANDING CHURCH MUSIC ON SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF YOUTH SLA-PTASN

Abstract


This study aims to explain whether the variable Understanding Church Music on the Spiritual Growth of PTASN Youth has a significant influence. The samples used in this study were 224 out of a population of 511. The data collection method used in this study was by using a questionnaire (Questionnaire) by asking questions to respondents and observing to make direct observations. Data analysis using SPSS 25 software, namely data quality test, research hypothesis test and homogeneity test. The results of this study indicate that the effect of understanding church music is significant on spiritual growth with a significance level of F <α (0.000 <0.05) and an R-square of 0.586. This means that the contribution to the influence of Understanding is 58, 6% while the remaining 41.4% is explained by other variables outside the study. Partially, understanding of music has a significant effect on spiritual growth of 0.000 <0.05 greater than tcount.
